Verified facts

Computacenter said on 26 October that it expected 2026 adjusted profit before tax of no less than £425m following a third quarter ahead of its expectations.

The company reported a committed product order backlog of £12.6bn at September's end, compared with £9.3bn at June's end. Its definition concerns outstanding vendor purchase orders against non-cancellable customer orders for delivery within twelve months, on a gross invoiced-income basis.

Apolifina analysis

The backlog provides visibility, but it should not be treated as revenue already earned or as a profit measure. Investors need to follow delivery, service mix and margins as orders pass through the business.

Uncertainty and risk

The update is based on unaudited information and the profit figure is a forecast. Customer concentration, delivery schedules and execution can affect outcomes. General reporting only.
