Verified facts

Petra Diamonds confirmed that listing and London trading in its ordinary shares were suspended from 07:30 UK time on 2 November. Its annual report for the year ended 30 June 2026 was not published by the 31 October deadline.

The audit remains in progress. Petra intends to request restoration after publication, subject to FCA and London Stock Exchange agreement. Trading does not automatically resume when the report appears, and the company gives no certain timetable.

Apolifina analysis

The immediate issue for a holder is loss of normal market dealing access. A suspension is not a fresh market price and does not by itself establish the eventual value of the shares.

Investors should distinguish finishing an audit, publishing accounts and obtaining restoration. Those are separate steps.

Uncertainty and risk

No restart date or recovery value is assured. The disclosure does not establish fraud or insolvency. Shares can lose value; this is reporting, not legal advice or a trading recommendation.
